Mary Beth holds certification as a sound therapist, reiki master, and massage therapist. She completed a post degree in massage therapy at Cuyahoga Community College in 2010 and began her second career in massage and healing. At sixteen she read a book on meditation. As she closed the book, she held it to her heart and knew she would become a yoga teacher in this lifetime. She has studied the chakra system for over 30 years. She studied with Bhumi 200 hours in Cleveland (Kripalu style) and with Rama Berch 500 hours in San Diego at Master Yoga. It is needless to say she is a life- long learner.
As a spa owner for ten years in Wisconsin (2010-2020), she studied aromatherapy, combining planetary tuning forks with essential oils offering Vibrational Raindrop Technique. When she finished that training, she was gifted a gong and the path of sound healing opened before her! In Elm Grove, WI she studied sound healing with Sheri Bower at Angel Light. She uses tuning forks, metal singing bowls, frosted crystal bowls, including two large bowls tuned for binaural beats, drums, harmonium, voice and a gong in her sound healing sessions. She studied with Jeff Howard in Woodinville, WA at Vibrational Sound Association and is certified to practice vibrational sound therapy (VST) placing Zen therapeutic singing bowls on and around the body. Mary Beth is a reiki master, studying with Jill Bolash, and reiki voice practioner studying with Janice Siebert. She has done online trainings with Dr. John Beaulieu (the godfather of tuning forks), Chloe Goodchild (voice), Jonathan Goldman (sound), John Stuart Reid (sound healing). She has studied harmonium with Girish, Sean Johnson, Mike Cohen, and Krishna Das. She is eternally grateful to all these teachers for sharing their wisdom and techniques.
After ten years of owning a spa in Wisconsin, Mary Beth moved home to Ohio to support her growing family. She works part time in Shaker Heights, OH with individual healing sessions, offers a free weekly chair yoga class at Shaker Library with a mini sound bath.

Besides her part-time healing and yoga work, she sings for Threshold Choir through hospice, helping others peacefully transition.
MB taught elementary and Montessori school in Cleveland for twenty six years before starting her second career in massage and healing. She loves to travel, hike, read, garden, do yoga, and sing kirtan (bhakti yoga). She is married with three children, one grandchild, and one on the way!
